This page features some of the most frequently asked questions that we receive from parents interested in the education of their child.
While Alpha Omega sees itself as providing services that complement or supplement the work schools provide, the reality is many schools are under-funded or unable to provide the service that we can provide.

No, not necessarily. Alpha Omega Education believes that small classes are usually best because they support group learning or team building theory and aid in a student’s personal development, social and communicational skills acquirement.

There is no comparison.

| Subject selection depends on the student grade, levels of understanding and academic performance. At Alpha Omega Education, we believe that tutoring is a complementary service to every day schooling and that all tutoring can have positive outcomes. In agreement with this view, we especially recommend English tutoring at primary levels of schooling. This is because English in the early stages of development can help with the comprehension of, and success achieved in, other subjects. In addition to English, we may recommend Mathematics at other times as the confidence from understanding Mathematics principles, formulas and the problem solving abilities that are acquired, can usually motivate students to apply themselves more, learn in other subjects and aid in understanding of the more complex sciences. |
Yes, but we do not pretend we can produce miracles.

Our rates are very competitive and transparent. We believe we provide the best value for money in the education industry. We offer various options of payment including discounts for early birds. For obvious reasons, we have a policy of not listing prices on our website, but to find out more contact us on (02) 9646 3355 and one of our representatives will tell you all you need to know about Alpha Omega Education. |
We usually suggest a minimum of between 1 to 2 hours per individual subject, depending on the school grade and individual student needs. We allow students and their parents to decide the amount of hours required and encourage additional hours (when needed) by applying a discount as hours increase. However, we remind parents that it is good practice to find an equitable balance between study/learning and the participation in other lifestyle events such as family gatherings, sports and other leisure opportunities. An over-emphasis on study can otherwise de-motivate or put unnecessary pressure on students. |
